Mam, is it safe to consume those big onions that have the black colour powder coating in its outer skin? Is it due to black fungus that it has that black powder and can we eat these onions? Pls clarify this question. Is it spoilt and unsafe due to the fungus in it?
We remove outer skin before using.If you can see inside layers are in good condition you can use.If any Fungus is seen throw it.
